BoycottToolkit

The Boycott Toolkit provides tools for consumers to organize collective economic action. You can learn about the politics behind everyday companies and products, pledge to join a campaign, and share information with your friends. Initial campaigns focus on Israeli settlements in the West Bank, wines from the Golan Heights, companies that donated to the California's anti-gay marriage Proposition 8, and companies that advertise on Glen Beck's right-wing Fox News talk show.

GroundTruth

A testbed for mapping the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territory. Provides data on the checkpoints, the path of the wall, and the extent of settlements, graciously given by B'Tselem and Peace Now. Allows routing taking movement restrictions into account, search by settlement name, and the information on the construction status of the barrier. Still under development.

VirtualGaza

Collecting civilian testimonies during the January war in Gaza and its aftermath. Creating space where ordinary Palestinians under siege can describe their experiences in their own words, and where the destruction of the Gaza strip can be documented by those experiencing it directly. Virtual Gaza invites you to help break the information blockade.

FlyFishingArm

A personally-relevant physical prosthetic device: a quick-attach arm for fly fishing. Built with low cost, commercially available parts, with the plans released as open source.

GeoTracker

A device to track the position of the wearer, compare it against a predefined list of locales, and vibrate when within a certain radius. Based on the Telit 863-GPS chip, a GSM/GPRS radio with an embedded Python interpreter.

FreedomFlies

A peaceful Unmanned Aerial Vehicle for activists, journalists, and hobbyists. Open source hardware and software. Reinvented and collaborating with Jeffery Warren's Grassroots Mapping.

Halloween

I try to celebrate with style.
